Leaving Boston

Sunrise from the bottom of the harbor

There is a sandbar that runs between Squantum and Thompson Island in Boston Harbor. At low tide, the bar is exposed, and you can walk across it. This particular day, the sunrise coincided with low tide, and a couple of fellow photographers braved the middle of the night to go out to catch the sunrise from the bottom of the ocean.
