I had a go at shooting water drops today. It works very well using a flash and umbrella.

Model shoot
The South Shore Camera Club setup time with a professional to come in with some lighting setups to allow us to get some time with models and understanding how to setup lights Strobist style.
Hal is a member of the club, and makes a great model.
Lori and Roger came with Carlton SooHoo.

Quincy photowalk
After a long overdue haircut, I went on a photowalk in Quincy.
The first stop was near Marina Bay. It was very cold on the water, and the tide was in. This crane is at the edge of a marsh that is exposed during low tide.
Next stop was this tower on a little spit of land attached to Squaw Rock Park at the tip of Squantum. The breakwater leading to the tower is just underwater from the high tide.
Next, I went to the Sailors Home Cemetery in Wollaston. It holds at least 119 Civil War sailors and Marines that lived on and farmed 6 1/2 acres after the war.
