Another shot from last night's game. Taken from a private box at the TD Banknorth Garden.

Goal!

GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!, originally uploaded by alohadave.

I went to a Boston Bruins hockey game tonight with a couple friends from work. Boston trumped the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1, and this shot is right as a point was scored. The Bruin closest to the goalie scored this point.

W. H. FRENCH
CO. K
3 MASS. CAV.

I'm not sure what a Con. Sgt. is, and there's no date on the stone, but I figure that this is a Civil War veteran.

Neponset River Rapids

Neponset River Rapids, originally uploaded by alohadave.

Milton is the home of one of the oldest dams in the US and the site of one of the first chocolate factories in the new world.

Just downstream of the dam, these rapids are hidden away where most people never see them.

Introductions...

Hi there. My name is David and I'm an amateur photographer.

I can't claim to be a very good photographer, but I enjoy it and I like sharing my work with anyone who is interested.

I'm based in the Boston area. I've lived here since 2001 when I got out of the Navy.

You may be wondering why my nick is Alohadave when I live in Boston? Well, Hawaii has had a huge impact on my life. I was born there, I served on two ships there, and when I lived there, I had a penchant for wearing aloha shirts and the name stuck.
