Egypt, Day 4

Day 4 in Aswan. We started the day with a felucca ride on the Nile, then we went to a papyrus store to see how it is made and to buy some pieces.

Egypt, Day 3

Day 3, Abu Simbel and Philae. These two temple complexes were moved after the Aswan High Dam was built.

Egypt, Day 2

On day 2, we went to Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples.

Egypt, Day 1

We went on vacation to Egypt last week, one of the places I've always wanted to see.

We started in Luxor with a dawn balloon ride.




After that, it was on to the Valley of the Kings (no cameras allowed. :( ). Then to Karnak Temple.

Changing a fuse

NStar was on my street the other day to change a fuse on the pole outside my house.

Prime Lens walkabout

I went with several members of the Boston Photo Mob on a Prime Lens Sunday walk. The premise is to use only a single prime lens for the duration of the walk.

Ashwood Cemetery, Weymouth Ma

I found an old cemetery in Weymouth the other day. The Tufts Library has a historical map of Weymouth, and it showed a cemetery across the street. It's inactive now.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an early Easter egg hunt last night with friends who came over for dinner.
