Watertown Dam

Watertown Dam is downstream of the Moody Street Dam on the Charles River. With all the rain, the rapids on the bottom of the dam are quite energetic.

The Northeast US had several days of rainfall from a Nor'easter that was stalled over the area. The Moody Street Bridge in Waltham, Ma, filled to the brim and hit a 70 year high level, and was at risk of breaching. This was taken right after the water level peaked, and it will go down to normal levels over the next week or two.



Here is a shot of the garbage that has accumulated at the very top of the dam.

New York City - Street style

My wife and I took her parents to NYC for his birthday. I've been several times, and I've taken plenty of building shots, so I focused on street shots of people.

My weakness...

I have a problem with sweets. If they are nearby (or in the house if we are being brutally honest), they just call out to me to be eaten.
